Kindergarten Play Time...

Fall is one of my favorite seasons to celebrate with the kids. One of the reasons behind my fall obsession could be all of the great crafts and art projects that you can do with your kids. Katie had a great art project to do and she is here to share it with you...

Katie is using the A Beka Art Projects book this year for her art class. It is full of fun things for her age and all of the projects use basic art supplies. I never feel like I have to search high and low for all that is required to make one of them.

For the fall projects in the book we started with this easy finger painting of a fall tree.

Who knew that watching a five year old paint could be so fun. She was so cute and serious while she worked on the trunk of the tree.

The real fun began when she dipped each finger into a different color to paint on the leaves.

Didn't she do a great job? I can see that she had a lot of fun smearing the paint in the paint tray. Now we have a great picture to hang up in the school room for an autumn decoration.
Thanks for looking!
