Disappearing Nine-Patch...
![]()
This is the latest Moda Bake Shop project that I have completed. I saw a tutorial on a table topper using the disappearing nine-patch and thought it would make a great baby quilt...

There is a great tutorial on the disappearing nine-patch at the Moda Bake Shop. Here is a picture of the nine-patch before it is cut in half and then in half again. I saw these adorable dinosaur prints at the Fat Quarter Shop and knew that it would be perfect for the baby boy I was going to be making the quilt for.

I really enjoyed making the blocks for this quilt. The prints were so cute and the colors so soft and relaxing.

Before I knew it, I had a whole stack of blocks ready to put together...

One of my favorite things about finding quilt patterns online can be seen right here. I have my computer right there with the instructions. I don't have to flip pages or hold a book down...

And here it is! I am very happy to have this baby quilt completed.

The quilt is finished and ready to ship. I do love making quilts and find it a very satisfying process. When it is all said and done though, I get an extra special thrill when I get to mail it out. I just love giving people gifts. Especially when it is something I have made. As far as I know, right now, there are no new little babies coming soon where I live. I will have to make something for myself next...
So selfish....
